Finally more crochet

This is the Ballerina afghan I made for Kristie (holding side of afghan). She loves her dance. She prefers jazz and lyrical, but a ballerina was the only dancer I could find. She loves it and loves to show it off. Pink is not only her favorite color, but also the dance school color. I tried to find a color to match her hair, but had to settle for a reddish brown. Then after it was all done I received my free skein from Bernat and it was the perfect color. I have been tempted to pull out down to where the hair starts, but then I regain my sanity. I used the afghan stitch and worked in the heart and dancer as I went along. The outline edges aren't smooth, but I couldn't figure out how to change the stitches or colors to make it look right. I'm just glad she isn't as critical of my work as I am.
