My Bad
I can't believe that I have let so much time go by without adding anything to my blog. I doubt if anyone sees it but me anyway.
To catch up on my doings. We went to Wisconsin again near the end of May because my father-in-law was having hip surgery. For a man almost 90 he did very good. We were there for about 2 and a half weeks. Would have been longer, but we had already planned and paid for a trip to Myrtle Beach with our youngest son and his wife's family. We were there for a week and really had a good time. I love the beach and would love to live there.
Father's Day weekend didn't turn out very good for us. Hubby and both sons went to the lake for the weekend. On the way down one of them hit a squirrel. They got to the lake, the freezer of the fridge wasn't working. That night they went fishing. Didn't catch any fish, but hit a deer on the way back to house. Had a few dents on the truck and the pontoon they were pulling. Saturday they had to go buy a new fridge. Went fishing Sat. night and managed to catch one fish. Coming home Sunday stopped to get a tire or something for a trailer they were bringing home, found out hubby had left charge card at Sears where they bought the fridge. So on their get away weekend they wound up getting : 1 squirrel, 1 deer, 1 fish, 1 fridge and 1 misplaced credit card. Meanwhile back at home----- Severe thunderstorm on Saturday night. Lightning struck something on house. Phone out, tv out (satellite), den lights out, internet out. Had to get phone company to come fix outside wires. Directtv had to replace a receiver and some equipment outside. We had to buy a new modum for the computer. Luckily for the den lights hubby just had to flip a switch. Later we found out the dehumidifer in the garage was also burned out. We were extremely lucky that we didn't have to replace the computer or the tv. So far the month of July has been quiet compared to June.
