At last

I am finally adding to my blog. I don't know why I just can't seem to do it more often.
The latest news is that I have joined a new crochet & knit group here in Greenwood. We meet every Tuesday night. So far there are more knitters than crocheters, but we have only been at it since Feb. We all have something to share, whether it be new techniques, ideas or items from generations past. It has been a lot of fun and a learning experience. I think I learn something new each week. I made a couple of items to be displayed with the new yarns. They were received with a lot of praise. Needless to say I was really pleased. Not only did I get to try some new patterns, but I got to 'play' with some wonderful yarn. One was an alpaca and the other was a cotton & something mix. They were both so soft and easy to work with. I am looking forward to being able to handle some of the more expensive yarns. I can feel even if I can't afford.
