I KNOW, I KNOW
Blog should be at least once a week not once every 6 or so months. I just have a hard time getting to it. Not to mention having something to say. I didn't realize when I posted the montage picture that I had already posted it. Nothing like repetition.
In my last blog I was going to tell about our trip to Kentucky. We managed to stay busy and got to see a lot of the sights. One day we went to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. It was very interesting and fun to see all the different ones. Then my husband went on a tour of the plant. He really enjoyed that. Naturally he was wishing he could put in an order for one. We visited the Jim Beam distillery and had some samples at the end of our self guided tour. We are planning on another trip Memorial Day weekend. Mark has tickets for the races at Church Hill Downs. It will be my first horse race. Hope I can pick a winner and come away with a few bucks. That would be better than I did when they took us to the casino boat on the Ohio river. I lost a couple of dollars.
Our crochet and knit group is still going strong. The local paper did an article on our group about the baby caps that we have donated to the NICU at our local hospital and the hats and scarves we gave to the local soup kitchen for the homeless. After that article we have gotten a lot of new members. They didn't know there was a local group or that Sheila was now carrying yarn at her shop "All For You". We have quite a group now. I missed the last meeting because I was with my Mother at her house. She had broken her arm and needed someone to stay with her. She was up here for awhile, but had to go back to the doctor to have the pins removed. She has gotten along really well for a lady in her 80s. Or probably even someone in their 60s.
One reason I don't blog often is because I don't know when to stop. Guess now would be good time.
