Crayon or Color Me Afghan

This is a not so good pic of the Crayon Afghan. I made it to give to one of my cousins for their baby to be. I could have sworn that I had followed the directions for each color, but the purple one looks like the black stripe is wider. The letters didn't all come out the same size either. I just didn't want to redo them. Even though the purple doesn't look purple in the picture it is actually a deep vibrant color. I think I am going to give it to my cousin, the more I look at it the more I like it. Well, I can always make another one!!!

CAMO AFGHAN

This is a picture of the camo footieghan that I made for my husband. He is into hunting and loves the whole camo thing. I made it larger than usual so it would cover him from head to toe and side to side. He likes the idea that he can put his feet in it and keep it in place. I like the footie part because I can use the pocket to fold it up and then have a pillow. That way it stays folded and I don't have to be folding it all the time, but is still easy for DH to open and use.

Crochet again

Time for more crochet.
Last spring when Ron and I were going to Fl for the Bass Masters I decided to make myself a bass pocketbook. After much trial and error I came up with the above. I'm glad I was doing my interpretation of a bass and not an exact copy!! I didn't include it in the picture but the strap is a stringer chain. Very cute idea, but uncomfortable on the shoulder.

A Little More Trip West

I know it takes me forever to get around to my blog. Thought I would add a picture from our trip. This is a little of the snow we saw and went through. This is in South Dakota at SD's Original 1880's town. It wasn't open yet, but I did manage to get a pretty good picture. I love the way the snow sparkles in the sun.
