MORE

Time for some more crochet pictures. I'll get back to the trip soon. These are two of the rugs that I made from plastic bags. I can't decide which was worse cutting all those bags or crocheting them. They do make for a very inexpensive project and have been the subject of a lot of conversations.

SO SOON

I know , I can't believe it has been only a couple of days since my last post. Decided that I would add a couple of more pics while I had them handy. They are of the same scrap afghan just different sides. Used up a lot of my left over yarns and made a pretty afghan. Matches just about any place I decide to use it. Right now it is at our lake house. I have another bunch of squares and strips to put together with blace, just haven't decided to do it yet. I hate putting strips together. I prefer to crochet all in one piece. The seperate strips did make for an easy to take along project.

ABOUT TIME

I guess it is about time that I added some crochet to my blog. We are in the process of cleaning some of the clutter from our computer. Part of that process is to burn pictures and other files to CDs. So while the pictures are at an easy to access place I decided to go ahead and put them on my blog. The white afghan on the red chair is the angel border one that I saw at the B & B in NC. I mean the same pattern. I just love it. The black one is one that I made years ago. It is sea creatures on a black single crochet afghan. The fish, starfish etc. are done in cross-stitch. It was a long time in the making, but worth the effort. I did it for our lake house. It started as the base for a Green Bay Packers themed afghan for our oldest son, but he wanted it on the Green Bay green. So it changed direction.

I really need to spend more time working on my blog. The next will have to be an installment on my west coast trip, before I forget anything.
